Message from the Dean

Dear Student,

I am delighted to announce that the Australian School of Business has received EQUIS business school accreditation for the maximum period of five years.

Gaining EQUIS accreditation places the School in an exclusive group of the world’s leading business schools. There are more than 10,000 business schools in the world, but only 128 have received EQUIS accreditation and fewer than half have been granted the full five-year accreditation.

EQUIS is the global quality assurance scheme of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which aims to raise the standard of management education worldwide. EQUIS has a rigorous and lengthy international peer review process that a business school must successfully complete to gain accreditation.  The Australian School of Business has been through this review process over the last two years.

EQUIS concluded that the high calibre of you, our students, and the design of our teaching programs are two key strengths of the Australian School of Business. EQUIS also commended the high level of internationalisation of our Faculty and the calibre of the School’s international academic partners.  These are great foundations to help us build an even more successful internationally recognised business school to support your studies.

Kind regards,

Professor Alec Cameron

p/s: Don’t you just feel proud to be in the Australian School of Business? I know I am!
